Sponsored by the Northwestern State University, the Louisiana Piano Series International was established in May 2002 in Natchitoches, Louisiana - the oldest city in the state.

Our mission is to bring internationally acclaimed pianists to Natchitoches. We believe that this series will prove beneficial and inspiring to the students at NSU as well as enhance the Natchitoches community with significant cultural events.

Six concerts will be presented by internationally renowned pianists. All concerts will take place in Magale Recital Hall located on the NSU campus. Each performance will be preceded by a pre-concert lecture and followed by a reception. Public masterclasses will be scheduled for selected NSU students.
